Production of the Melody 212 valve is the peak of many years of Mr Allen Wang’s efforts to replicate the sound of the Western Electric 212-tube. A tube lost many decades ago and was first used for military facilities, TV, and radio stations.
The Western Electric 212-valve was the peak of producing the biggest vacuum tube in terms of size and quality. Many collectors and audiophiles consider the 212 to be very the best when set up and used correctly.
Everest 212 monoblock is driven by 2 x 212 and 1 x 274B valves to deliver 30wpc. Due to its power and current capacity, the 212 is able to manage a very wide range array of speakers but fits best with speakers that require some power with low sensitivity (below 90dB).
