Vibration from the floor degrades the performance of cables, particularly near the loudspeaker, and isolation enables an improved performance. Also particularly useful for keeping loudspeaker cables (and any other cables) away from the vicinity of mains power cables.
Adjustable in height, LAS-CP also means it is possible in many instances to support and isolate the mains power cable but also it will help to not add additional strain to IEC plug and IEC socket of the equipmemnt the power cable is plugged into.
